The Landing invests in strategic partnerships with aligned organisations, co-creating and delivering youth-centred programs that foster resilience, personal development and a mindset of giving back.

In 2019, our current youth resource centre was opened in Gastown and we have created a space for us to welcome vulnerable youth into the space, 6 nights a week to offer community partnered programming to vulnerable youth in a safe environment. 

In 2024, Face Of Today rebranded to The Landing Youth Centre in anticipation of the relocation to our brand new building, The We Got You Centre, in partnership with the Herrendorf Family Foundation, which will be opening in Spring 2025.

The Landing is committed to addressing the needs of our youth by not only providing them with basic necessities like bus passes, grocery gift cards, meals and healthy snacks but also immeasurable soft supports like creating a safe space for them, assembling an army of mentors who believe in them, and creating opportunities for them to experience joy. 

By donating, you are becoming a part of their journey with us and helping support these youth by investing in the bettering of their future.

Give Monthly

Working with vulnerable youth can be extremely unpredictable. That means The Landing has to be prepared to deal with emergency situations at any time. Monthly giving allows us to respond to emergencies while also supporting all aspects of the essential work we do everyday.

As a monthly donor, you will:

  1. Be making an immediate and ongoing impact

  2. Receive monthly donation reports to learn about the ongoing impact of your donation

  3. Receive bi-annual donor surveys that provide you with a platform to influence the informational content that you receive

  4. Receive invitations to special donor events throughout the year

The Herrendorf Family Foundation invests in strategic partnerships with global change leaders. Together, with their partner organisations, they advocate for education, empowerment, and generational resilience.

Moms Offering More

We are excited to continue to grow and develop our MOM Army. The MOM (Mom’s Offering More) program builds a community of like-minded women to support The Landing Youth Centre programming through volunteer opportunities, engagement and fundraising. Mom's Offering More goes beyond traditional philanthropic endeavours, serving as a source of hope, offering a hand-up rather than a handout.

With a donation through Mom’s Offering More, you can receive MOM Merch and support The Landing Youth Centre. 100% of your donation goes to The Landing programs.

Our Impact

Making a tangible impact

At The Landing, we are committed to making a tangible impact in the lives of our community. Over the 2023/24 school year, our centre was accessed by our youth 3,260 times. We also distributed grocery gift cards worth $45,000 into the community.
