Our Services

Youth in The Landing Youth Centre's Gastown location

The Landing works to establish equitable opportunities, provide resources, and support the East Vancouver community.

From clinical counselling to hot meals, our goal is to provide consistent, wraparound support for our youth, families, and community partners. Our services extend through our four pillars: Spaces, Programs, Food Security and Grants & Gifts.

We offer preventative and early intervention programs designed to provide intentional mentorship from positive adults in our community, as well as a safe space for youth to learn, grow, and express themselves.

Our programs are delivered by both our team and community partners who share our vision. Community is central to all of our programs, with a goal of providing youth with a network of support to help them thrive. We offer:

Food Security

Youth hanging out in Grandview-Woodlands area

1 in 6 children in BC live in households that experience household food insecurity (2025 BC Child Poverty Report Card).

Household food insecurity affects people's physical, social, and mental health, which are critical in the formative teen years.

At the Landing Youth Centre we know that nobody can reach their full potential when they are worrying about their next meal. Through rescued food, partnerships, and a community of supporters we are able to tackle food security head on.

  • Hot nutritious meals at all programs

  • Healthy snacks for all program participants

  • Grocery gift cards to support our families

  • Meals provided to local non-profits

  • Holiday meals

Grants & Gifts

By listening attentively and responding thoughtfully to community needs, we can contribute to building a stronger, more cohesive community where youth feel heard, valued, and empowered.

Through grant/gift programs we provide opportunities for our families and youth to express their needs. We do our best to meet these needs whenever possible.

  • Wraparound Support: Comprehensive assistance to address specific needs and challenges faced by our families.

  • Scholarships: Program participants receive early-access to scholarships provided by our funding partners, The Herrendorf Family Foundation.

  • Emergency Support: Immediate financial relief for families of registered program participants.

  • Holiday Hampers
