Alumni Support
Emergency Grants
Our Wrap Around Program provides comprehensive and coordinated assistance designed to address the specific needs and challenges faced by our families in a way that is dignified and personalized.
At the beginning of the school year, 20 families of youth who attend our programming are nominated by our community partners to receive support through access to monthly grocery gift cards and two micro-grants over the course of the school year.

Program participants receive early-access to scholarships provided by our funding partners, The Herrendorf Family Foundation.
These scholarships play a vital role in breaking barriers to accessing higher education, empowering our youth, and keeping them connected to their network of trusted adults. First-year recipients of the HFF Scholarships also gain access to our Fellowship Program as part of our alumni support plan.

We know that in order to fully support youth, the support must extend past the walls of our resource centre and into their homes.
Access to emergency grants for registered program participants offers immediate financial relief to families when they face sudden crises such as job loss, medical emergencies, or unexpected expenses. This timely assistance helps our families meet urgent needs and stabilize their situations.
