Tara holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia with a combined major in Economics and Political Science and has spent much of her professional life helping make complex topics more approachable and accessible.

Before joining The Landing, Tara worked with the Launchpad program as a facilitator and spent much of her time helping make financial literacy and workplace readiness feel more approachable for youth. She also co-founded an advisory practice committed to making finance more accessible by providing financial planning through an education-focused approach.

A common thread throughout Tara's work has been helping make unfamiliar or intimidating subjects feel approachable. Whether working in financial education or youth programming, she believes that the most meaningful learning happens when people feel safe enough to ask questions they think they should already know the answers to.
